Job at Fin Sector

I am now really getting the hang of the job after 1 year. However, I am really furious at the newer colleagues they don't take initiatives to do things, have to tell them what to do... Yesterday, one of them, Janice was using her phone although we were rushing entries for month end. So I told her we're rushing to input entries, after a while she still use...so I ask her whether she finished entries le. She didn't say anything but later finish le. Anw after which I see her using phone again so I ask her to clarify an invoice with IT. She buay song, she says what she knows how to ask, I say ask so that u can enter the invoice journal entry. She then says “要求多多” or smth along tt line and plus a bad word then go washroom. After which we didn't speak again. Anyway I really angry at her so today I entered the entries all by myself... except for 3 payment vouchers which were passed to her... anyway I dun think I was in the wrong... but really tired of her poor attitude towards work...

Fear Factor

Yes! Finished EM Test 2 today! I tried to revise for FPA today but was rather distracted and not making real progress! Nvm thou should still have time to study! Anw just watch fear factor! It was awesome! There was three groups of family (2 per group) competing! First stage: They have to search and get as many flags as possible from the barrels on top of a truck before it crashes in to a site full of explosives! Second stage: Eating scorpions! It was scary! Third stage: Strapped to the front of a cement truck and try to grab as many flags as possible as the cement truck crashes through barriers! Yea! Gotta try to study now! =)

Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol

Me and sis went to Marina Square during afternoon to meet Mum and Aunt at Hans where they ate lunch and following on we shop around and eat Mac. Then, me, sis and dad watched Mission Impossible-Ghost Protocol at Kallang Leisure Park's Filmgarde. It was very engaging! =) Enjoyed it totally! Going to buy next term's textbook tmr so gotta sleep early tonight!

Church's Christmas Concert

I went to a Christmas Concert of my friend's Le Yi's church with my sister. There were a brief message delivered by Yu Qing Pastor in chinese and her daughter Xiao Hong translate it to English. There were also singing by the church's choir! The songs sang by the choir were great! I got to know from Le Yi that they had been practising for 6 months! No wonder they can be so coordinated and in harmony! Enjoyed it =) But I didn't stay for dinner provided by the church thou cos I wanted to go home early to rest, and I know sis does not really want to stay for dinner there. However, I told Le Yi that we are not really hungry and we will eat dinner at home (which is partially true for me) While waiting for Dad to pick us up, a pebble just fell from the tree and hit my spec, luckily I was not injured! Dad pick us up and we went to Kallange Leisure Park where we ate Subway, and I bought some christmas cards, and bought tickets for tmr 7.20pm show on Mission Impossible by Tom Cruise, looking forward to it! Following on, we actually went to McDonalds where we ate ice cream. At Mac, we ran into Auntie Janet and Wan Li and Si Wei's Aunt, and spoke with them for a while then we went home. At home, I watch channel 5 news which was mostly on the SMRT incidents, before going on to take a shower and watch 天与地 episode 18! After writing this, I would watch 我的如意狼君 episode 9 for a while before reading Inheritance and then retiring for the night! Hope I can easily fall asleep later unlike last night when I managed to fall alsleep at about 5.30am!

Zion Bishan Church Play

Went to Aunt's Church, Zion Bishan, to watch a play called Jade Bangle which is based on a book written by Pastor David Wong . When Annie's Grandma ask Annie to pass the jade bangle to her Mom, Grandma ask Annie to tell her mom the following words:

"Green is the colour of life, Strength is the quality of Jade, Circle stands for love, eternal love, unbroken by death"

Though the phrase was quite inspiring. =)

I enjoyed the play. I will be attending a Christmas concert of my friend, Le Yi's church tomorrow evening. Looking forward to it! and also looking forward to watching episode 18 of 天与地 and episode 9 of 我的如意狼君 tomorrow!

New Fujitsu Laptop!

Just got a new fujitsu laptop: Lifebook S Series SH560! It is White and it is cool! Yah! Thanks to my Aunt who help me purchase it! But I have lots of problem registering for the warranty thou.

Don't know what to =( can't find the market cap of global plam oil industry which is needed to do the revenue forecast for corporate reporting project. The others infor found not useful oso.

English Tuition Phonics

The tuition is supposed to start at 2pm but since Ryan has not come yet... I am here blogging! Anyway, I have researched the phonics sounds for the blends/combinations words to teach Ryan, realized that they are not easy! Must ganbate! =) Oh ya... yesterday didn't managed to buy any presents for Joanne or Siew Hwee thus must buy today!!!! Maybe go Nex later to buy???? Later see....

Hey, we have make some changes to the intitial planned room layout! Now can actually fit in a desk! hahaz! Going to Nex later to see the desk and also to buy Christmas present for Siew Hwee and Birthday present for Joanne! Yea! Quite happy today!

Room Makeover!!!

hey! Me and my sis room is going to get a makeover! Today just went to look at the furnitures! Planning to change the wardrobe, beds, bookshelf! We bought all these today and it totals up to about 3k. Planning to add a desk too, but have to see whether have space to put it in. Looking forward to sleeping on my new bed! =)

P.s. I have to fork out 1k =( but I guess it is reasonable??? Who knows....

Disheartened

Gotten back comments for the cover letter+resume assignment. They were not good at all =( in fact very very negative. Haiz... hope the marks aren't too bad =(

1) Hah, my website has finally been up on google search index since some weeks ago =) I was very happy about that!

2) Got a two week period part time work at Media Development Authority =) Today is my last day!
